We are organizing an awareness campaign among the school
children about the toughest national level Civil Service Examination conducted
by UPSC. This concept is the result after various extensive studies on how to
make the school going student’s familiar with the procedures of Civil Service
examinations.
This is carried out in a simple way by nurturing their present
level of studies, without any financial burden. We are sure that we can create venerable
alumni for your school!
There is reluctance among students in appearing for any national
level competitive exams, especially Civil Services Examinations. From our own personal experience we
understand that this apprehension is due to a combination of misguidance and
misconception about these examinations. Lack of confidence, lack of awareness,
fear and ignorance are other reasons.
Edutech Foundation in association with ‘RACE2IAS’, with the help
of many eminent personalities in this field, initiated this remedy to wipe out
the mental agony among school students. This is an excellent and inspiring event
for the students to dream to be a civil servant or to reach the top ladder of
any national level exams. It will be a
rare opportunity for the students to identify their strength and weakness.
Strategy and
Implementation
RACE2IAS will conduct an open house session
for the students/parents from 7th Grade to 12th grade to demonstrate
the easiest way to crack the Civil Service Examination or any Competitive
examination of that level. Further, we will issue the registration forms. Interested
students can register their names.
Ø RACE2IAS will conduct an extensive interaction with the students
who had registered by paying the prescribed registration fee. They will be
guided and provided with all study materials through online/app. Current
affairs and general knowledge quiz will be sent to the registered students on a
daily basis. Hall Tickets will be issued on due course for Prelims.
Ø Selected candidates will be permitted to appear for the Mains and
finally, considering the score of the Main Exam they will be called for an
interview.
Ø The entire procedures of the examinations and selections will be
similar to the procedures of the Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC.
Ø Awards will be given to the best performing students and this
selection will be on an all India bases.
There are two Categories:
1. Students from 7th to 9th
Standard – Junior Level
2. Students from 10th to 12th
Standard – Senior Level
Exams will be conducted in 3 stages
Level 1- Prelims
Ø An objective type questions consisting 2 papers (General & aptitude) and OMR based evaluation.
Ø Main portion of questions will be drawn from the class
textbook.
Ø Current affairs around the world and General Knowledge.
Level 2 -
Mains
A
descriptive type talent based examination for the selected meritorious students
who selected in the prelims examination.
The exam
consists of 2 papers out of which the
second paper can be chosen from 3 options and will be conducted in a single
day.
Questions
will be a thought-provoking type derived strictly from their academics only.
Level 3 -
Interview
Chosen few,
will get a once-in-a-lifetime experience to feel the real spirit of UPSC
interview happening only in New Delhi.
They will
also get time to interact with veterans of civil service servants to get the
right direction and boost their level of confidence.
We do this with at most dedication and devotion for
the betterment of the coming generation. Thankfully we are backed by many
eminent ex-personnel who have appreciated our mission and vision.
We charge a very small amount of Rs. 1000/- for the
entire activity.
